Berlin,

The Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA) has welcomed Arjun Aggarwal, Co-Founder and Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Bhartiya Urban, to the Senate of the BWA Global Economic Network.
Arjun Aggarwal represents a new generation of Indian entrepreneurship that combines international perspective, family business tradition and a strong focus on integrated urban, industrial and corporate development. Bhartiya Group, founded by Snehdeep Aggarwal, began as a fashion business in 1987 and has since developed into a diversified group with activities in apparel and accessories manufacturing, real estate development and industrial parks.
With Bhartiya City in Bengaluru, the group has created one of India’s major integrated urban development projects. The city combines residential and commercial districts, IT parks, hotels, retail and entertainment areas, schools and healthcare infrastructure within a master-planned urban ecosystem.
Arjun Aggarwal has played a key role in building and advancing the real estate business of the Bhartiya Group. He drives the execution of Bhartiya City and its joint venture activities; under his leadership, Nikoo Homes became one of Bengaluru’s fastest-selling residential brands.
His current initiative, Bhartiya Converge, reflects India’s growing role as a global location for corporate transformation, innovation and Global Capability Centers. The platform focuses on creating integrated environments for international companies seeking to establish and scale strategic operations in India.
For the BWA, the connection with entrepreneurs such as Arjun Aggarwal is of particular importance. India is one of the world’s most dynamic growth markets and an increasingly important strategic partner for Germany and Europe. Strengthening economic ties with Indian business leaders contributes to practical, future-oriented business diplomacy and opens new opportunities for cooperation across industries, real estate, infrastructure and international corporate development.
The BWA looks forward to deepening the exchange with Arjun Aggarwal and Bhartiya Urban and to building further bridges between Germany, India and the wider international business community.
